Sweet Salad Dressing Formula

Here is a very simple formula for making a sweet salad dressing. As I have written it below, it is quite sweet, which is great if you are serving children or someone with a sweet tooth. I recommend you taste it before serving. If your dressing is too sweet, simply add a splash of extra vinegar.

In a small bowl whisk together:
x volume of your favorite high quality jam
x volume of red wine vinegar
2x volumes of olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Here is an example of the formula for two adult-sized servings of salad:
1 tablespoon of four fruit jam
1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons of olive oil
pinch of salt and a short grind of pepper

Easy!

Hey Nancy -- sorry I haven't been by your blog in a LONG time. You and Pam should swap salad dressing recipes. She makes a FABULOUS one, but I have no idea to make it. I'm anxious to try yours, though!
